The Procedure is same for Ford Taurus 2008 and 2009.
Blower Motor Resistor Removal & Installation details are as follows :---
NOTE
Blower motor resistor is also referred to as the blower motor speed control.
Detach the RH scuff plate trim panel from the RH cowl side trim panel.
Remove the RH cowl side trim panel.
Remove the 2 RH lower instrument panel insulator pin-type retainers and the RH lower instrument panel insulator.
Disconnect the blower motor speed control electrical connector.
Remove the 2 blower motor speed control screws.
Remove the blower motor speed control.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
