Clutch slipping problem?


In most cases clutch slipping problem is noticed while accelerating or while changing gears.


  • Symptom: Clutch Slipping noticed at Transmission When Accelerating or while changing gears.





1 In this case first of all Inspect Clutch Disc and clutch assembly :
  • Broken, Missing or Weak Clutch Disc Springs.
  • Broken, Missing or Worn Pressure Plate Diaphragm Fingers.
  • Contaminated Clutch or Pressure Plate Surface.
  • Worn or Damaged Clutch Pressure Plate.

2 Inspect Transmission Mount :

  • Loose, Broken, Worn, or Damaged Transmission Mount.

This can cause the problem.

Inspecting this possibilities will help to confirm the problem.
