Removal & Installation

1. NOTE

   Record the radio anti-theft code before removing the radio!
2. Insert radio removal tool 000 589 88 63 00, into the radio release slots at the bottom of the radio unit.
3. Pull the radio unit back unit the electrical connectors can be reached. Detach the connectors, then pull the radio unit out.

4. Remove the center trim panel; use a plastic wedge to prevent damage to the trim when disengaging the clips. The clips can be accessed at the top through the radio hole, and at the bottom through the rotary dial holes. Unplug the electrical connectors and remove the panel.
5. Remove the screws securing the control panel, then unplug the electrical connectors and disengage the control cables from the unit.
6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
