How to Replace Power Steering Ecu on Toyota Highlander?

The details provided are to replace Power Steering Ecu on toyota Highlander car models.

Power Steering Ecu
Removal & Installation


Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the left-hand engine compartment side cover.
Remove the bolt and inverter bracket no.5.
Remove the power steering ECU assembly, as follows:
Remove the bolt and ground cable terminal from the power steering ECU assembly.
Release the locks of the 2 power steering ECU assembly connectors and disconnect the connectors.
Separate the 2 wire harness clamps from the power steering ECU assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts and the power steering ECU assembly.

To install:

Install power steering ECU, as follows:
Install the power steering ECU assembly with the 2 bolts and tighten to 71 inch lbs. (8 Nm).
Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the power steering ECU assembly.
Connect the 2 power steering ECU assembly connectors and securely lock the connectors.
Install the ground cable terminal to the power steering ECU assembly with the bolt and tighten to 53 inch lbs. (6.0 Nm).

Install the inverter bracket no.5 to the power steering ECU assembly with the bolt and tighten to 7 ft. lbs. (10 Nm).
Install the left-hand engine compartment side cover.
Connect the negative battery cable..
Perform the initialization procedure to reset the System.
